A step-by-step guide to selecting your favourites

Here's a step-by-step guide to what happens when you receive the invite to view your online gallery. From what the invite looks like, to selecting your favourites and leaving any comments about any editing requests for your final prints.

I use Pixieset as my sharing platform, so when you get an email notification from Pixieset, it's time to get excited!

Within the body of the email, you'll see the below layout:

Click the grey "View Photos" box to open up the link, or copy and paste the unique URL to view your private gallery.

The below layout will open up in your web browser:

You can either click on the 'Open' box or scroll down to see your full gallery.

In between the main gallery image and your full gallery, you'll see the selection bar below:

To create your 'Favourites' list, click the heart icon. This will open up the box below, asking for your email address to register and start your selection.

Your list is now ready for you to add photos to. Click 'Return To Gallery' to go back to the main gallery to start picking out your absolute favourite photos for editing printing.

When you find a photo that you love and want to choose as a print, click on it so it's enlarged to view at full size, and click on the heart icon that appears to the top right, above the photo.

You can continue to add and also remove photos from your favourites list as you narrow down the selection to the number of edits / prints agreed in your package. You can always include more, or upgrade to have the full gallery if you decide.

Within your final 'My Favourites' folder, you can add a note with specific requests about the edit.

When you have finalised your selection, within the 'My Favourites' folder, select the paper aeroplane icon, then 'Send to Photographer' from the dropdown that appears. This will send me a notification that you've made your decision and I can get editing the final selection for you.

Now all you need to do is sit back and wait.

I will update the gallery to include the edits that were included in your package, or update the full gallery of photos with your edits if you've chosen to upgrade and get in touch when they're ready.

I'll share a step-by-step guide for what to do when you receive your gallery of edits next.

Hopefully this helps and if you have any questions, ask away!
